This is Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)
Thyroid Eye Disease, also known as TED, is a condition where your immune system mistakenly attacks the muscle and fat tissue behind your eyes, causing inflammation (redness and swelling) and scar tissue to form.1,2
If you have TED, you may experience changes in your eyes like eye bulging, redness, eye pain, double vision and more.1,2
People with Graves’ disease are at an increased risk of developing TED.3,4
